The Rams were expected to hire Jeff Fisher, but that’s on hold right now if he’s still the leading candidate. The Rams are expected to interview Denver Broncos Defensive Coordinator Dennis Allen for the head coaching position on Thursday.
Allen will be the third candidate the Rams have interviewed, joining Fisher and Arizona Cardinals Defensive Coordinator Ray Horton. Unlike Fisher, neither Allen or Horton have any head coaching experience.
Allen and Horton are coming off their first-year as Defensive Coordinator for their respective teams. The Broncos defensive finished 19th in the league in yards allowed and 23rd in points allowed.
