Dre Kirkpatrick has likely affected his draft stock in April’s NFL draft.
Kirkpatrick, the former Alabama cornerback, was arrested on Tuesday for a marijuana possession charge. He was regarded as a Top 10 pick, but now teams will not take a flyer on him.
He was arrested at 12:48 am and charges with possessing less than 20 grams. He was later released on a $120 dollar bond.
Police pulled over the car that Kirkpatrick was in for driving on the wrong side of the road. A dog later smelled drugs in the vehicle and the officer found marijuana near Kirkpatrick’s feet on the passenger side.
