Chad Ochocinco has said he would like to return to the New England Patriots.

However, the Patriots will likely decide to release him after he struggled in his only season in New England. In tonight’s Super Bowl, he had only one reception for 21 yards.

He would have to take a major pay cut to return, which is not likely to happen after he took a pay cut to come to the Patriots. He is scheduled to receive $3.1 million in salary bonuses alone.

He made $1 million this season, but had a $4 million cap hit. He finished the regular season with 15 catches for 275 yards.
