Channing Crowder has been in touch with the Atlanta Falcons.

Crowder sat out last season after being released by the Miami Dolphins prior to the start of the season. While sitting out, he considered retirement,

Mike Nolan, who was the Dolphins defensive coordinator during Crowder’s past few years in Miami, recently accepted the Atlanta Falcons defensive coordinator position. Soon after arriving in Atlanta, Nolan sent Crowder a text.

Now, Crowder is saying that he would love to play for the Falcons. He has also admitted that his August retirement was not a real rational thing.

Falcons starting middle linebacker Curtis Lofton is a free agent. At 28-years-old, he should be able to make a comeback to the game real easy.
