Carl Edwards will have a new crew chief just for this weekend.

Chip Bolin will serve as fill-in crew chief at Daytona International Speedway. He replaces Bob Osborne, who lost his father recently.

Osborne will be back in time to lead Edwards for the Gatorade Duels and Daytona 500 in next week. Bolin is currently the head engineer for the Roush Fenway Racing team.

He previously was the crew chief for Matt Kenseth’s Sprint Cup team.
