The MSG Network is catching a lot of heat right now and its all for the wrong reasons.
The network will not say why they aired a fan’s sign that showed Jeremy Lin’s face above a fortune cookie during Wednesday night’s game. The image said, “The Knicks Good Fortune.”
Lin is a phenomenon right now, and is the NBA’s first American-born player of Chinese or Taiwanese decent. There are reports that say the image was an MSG Network graphic, but the network deny that.
The network posted a tweet Thursday saying, “What appeared briefly last night was not an MSG graphic, it was one of many fan signs in the arena.” But would not comment any further about the uproar.
