Mario Manningham will not re-sign with the New York Giants.
Manning, who had the biggest catch in this year’s Super Bowl, wants to play in a warm-weather city. And there are reports that say he’ll sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
If he signs with the Bucs, he will be reunited with former New York Giants quarterbacks coach Mike Sullivan. Sullivan was recently named the Buccaneers offensive coordinator under new head coach Greg Schiano.
The Buccaneers have a lot of cap space to spend this off-season on free agents. And with the addition of Manningham, it would improve the Bucs vertical threat in their offense.
