Stevie Johnson is close to re-signing with the Buffalo Bills.

Johnson is close to signing a five-year deal with the team. However, it is not known how much the contract is worth.

It could be in the neighborhood of $35 million. If it is, then it would be the same contract that Pierre Garcon turned down from the Indianapolis Colts recently.

The contract would allow the Bills to avoid tagging Johnson with the franchise tag. The team had until 4 pm to place the franchise tag on him.

Johnson will be 26 years old in July. He would be with the team until his 31 year old campaign.
