The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed one of their young offensive linemen for the long-term.

The Bucs have signed left guard Jeremy Zuttah to a multi-year extension. The team made it one of their top priorities to re-sign Zuttah.

Zuttah is very familiar with new Bucs head coach Greg Schiano. Zuttah played for Schiano at Rutgers.

Zuttah will return as the starting left guard for the 2012 season. He joins right guard Davin Joseph and center Jeff Faine to make up the interior line.

Last season, he made eight penalties, which was the highest among guards in the NFC.
