The Seattle Seahawks have re-signed Marshawn Lynch.
Lynch has signed a four-year extension. He could earn as much as $32 million with $18 million guaranteed.
He was going to get the franchise tag if the team sides couldn’t agree to a deal. However, that will not happen now.
The Seahawks reportedly included annual “out” clauses that protect the team from Lynch going downhill.
He will be entering his third season in Seattle. He was acquired from the Buffalo Bills in a trade in October 2010 after three games.
Last season, he played in 15 games and had 1,204 yards. He also had 12 touchdowns.
In addition, he had 28 receptions for 212 yards and a touchdown.
