TCNJ’s Denver wins the 184-pound championship

Mike Denver has become the 21st wrestler at The College of New Jersey to win a national championship.

Denver won the 184 pound championship at the 2012 NCAA Division III Wrestling Championship. He beat King’s College’s Mike Reilly in 3 minutes and 55 seconds to win the championship.

He finished the tournament with a 5-0 record. He finished the season with a 37-2 overall mark.

He is the school’s first national champion since 2003. He is also a three-time All-American.
