Bobcats agree to buyout Diaw’s contract

Boris Diaw wanted to be traded at the trade deadline last week.

The Charlotte Bobcats could not find a taker for his services. Now, Diaw and the Bobcats have reached an agreement on a buyout.

It is going to be interesting to see where he lands. He now has one day to sign with a new team to be eligible to play in the playoffs.

He appeared in 37 games this season and was averaging 7.4 points per game. He was also averaging 5.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 0.5 steals per game.

He was traded by the Phoenix Suns to the Bobcats in the 2007-08 season.
