Alex Dragicevich has decided to leave the Fighting Irish men’s basketball team.
Dragicevich, a sophomore, will be transferring to another school and has been released from his scholarship. Irish head coach Mike Brey said he was sorry to see Dragicevich go.
In addition, Brey said he supported Dragicevich’s decision to transfer. He averaged 6.6 points and 1.8 rebounds in 34 games this season.
In his career with the Irish, he has averaged 5.2 points and 1.6 rebounds in 47 career games.
“Alex has been a terrific representative of our basketball program and always has conducted himself with a great deal of class,” Brey said in a statement.
