Brandon Weeden has turned down the NFL’s invitation.

Weeden was invited to attend the 2012 NFL draft in New York City. But the Oklahoma State declined, because he’s unsure where he’ll be drafted.

He is expected to watch the NFL draft from his parents house in Edmond, Oklahoma. He said waiting for his name to be called wasn’t appealing to him.

He is expected to be a late first round or second round pick. There are speculation that the Cleveland Browns are interested in drafting in late in the first round after visiting the team this week.

“I really contemplated going,” he said. “I hope to go in the first round, but there are a lot of unknowns.”
