Devon Branch is headed to the great Northwest.

Branch, a former Aberdeen High School shooting guard, has decided to take his talents to Oregon. He chose Oregon over scholarships from Kansas State, Rutgers, and Virginia Tech.

Branch is coming to Oregon via Cloud County Community College in Kansas. While there, he become one of the best junior college shooting guards in the country.

“I was real happy,” Branch said. “I just took my visit this weekend. I had a great time. I felt like I was at Cloud County Community College. With the coaches and players, it just felt like home.”

According to JUCOJunction, he was the 30th best college prospect.

“[Recruiting] got stressful a few times,” he said. “Everybody started calling, [trying to] get me to come visit. It was just real stressful, but when I got to Oregon, everything just felt like it was at Cloud.”
