Bob Krimmel has hired his son to run the St. Francis men’s basketball team.

Krimmel, the St. Francis Athletic Director, has named Rob Krimmel the new men’s basketball head coach. He becomes the 21st head coach in school history.

He replaces former head coach Don Friday, who was fired after four seasons with the team. During his tenure at the school, he was 32-86.

Krimmel used to be a player for the school from 19996 to 2000. He has served as member of the men’s basketball coaching staff the past 12 years.
