Kevin Love has played his last game for the Minnesota Timberwolves this season.
Love has passed all the concussion tests and has been cleared to return to the Timberwolves lineup. However, the team has elected to shut down their All-Star for the rest of this season.
The Wolves do not want to risk additional injuries in the final two games to Love. He has not played in a game since April 11th at Denver when he was knocked woozy in the game.
He reportedly suffered a mild concussion and a strained neck that day. Head coach Rick Adelman said it was the coaching staff and doctors decision to shut down Love.
“We’ll just go with the guys we have and hope we can get a couple of wins,” he said.
