The Baltimore Ravens have their first candidate to replace Terrell Suggs.

Suggs is expected to miss the 2012 season with a torn Achilles. Paul Kruger, a four-year linebacker, has been working with the Ravens first-team defense, as the rush linebacker.

Kruger is getting the first crack to replace Suggs at outside linebacker. However, Pernell McPhee is expected to get Suggs’ defensive end reps.

Courtney Upshaw, the second round pick, was rumored to replace Suggs. But he’s been playing the strong side linebacker.

Kurger and Upshaw are lining up against Jameel McClain and Ray Lewis. McPhee and Kruger are expected to lead the Ravens in sacks.
