Dez Bryant’s mother has decided not to press charges against her son.
Last week, Bryant was arrested on a Class-A family violence charge. Two days prior, Angela Bryant was allegedly assaulted by her son during an argument at her house.
Reports said that Bryant grabbed his mother by her shirt, which teared her shirt and her bra. Those same reports say that Bryant pulled her hair and hit her across the head with a baseball hat.
“I can’t keep letting him do this,” Angela Bryant said on the 911 call. “I can’t keep letting him do me like this. I’m tired. I’m going to put an end to it today.”
While Bryant might get off from being prosecuted, he could still be punished by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. He could be punished through the NFL’s personal conduct policy.
