Eagles place DT Mike Patterson on non-football injury list

Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Mike Patterson has been placed on the non-football injury list. Patterson is dealing with a head injury.

At press time, it is not clear if he will be able to play this season.

Patterson has spent the last seven seasons with the Eagles. He was a first-round pick by the team in the 2005 NFL Draft.

He has had 332 tackles, including 38 tackles for a loss. He also had 21 quarterback hits.

Patterson has had 15.5 sacks. He also had one interception.

He had four forced fumbles. He also had eight fumble recoveries, including returning one fumble recovery for a touchdown.

He also had four pass deflections.

Patterson last played during the 2011 season. That’s when he played in 15 games.

He had 35 tackles, including six tackles for a loss. He also had three quarterback hits.

Patterson had 2.5 sacks. The 2.5 sacks were the most since he had 4.0 sacks during the 2007 season.

He also had one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.
