The Yale football team will be without one of its best players for this 2012 season.

Yale

Chris Smith will miss this upcoming season. He will be sidelined for personal issues, according to head coach Tony Reno.

He is the Bulldogs all-time leader in receptions and receiving yards. He said he would return to the school next fall and re-join the football team.

He has 92 receptions in his career for 1,287 yards. He was also a two-time All-Ivy League selection.
