The Los Angeles Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti has come out and stated that ace Clayton Kershaw will not need surgery on his injured hip.
Colletti confirmed what Dodgers head trainer Sue Falsone said on Wednesday. He has been bothered by the hip injury over the past month.
The team expects him to be at a 100% in the off-season. He finished the season with a National League-best 2.53 ERA in 33 starts.
There is a chance that he could win his second straight Cy Young Award.
