The New Orleans Hornets rookie guard Austin Rivers is day-to-day.
Rivers was the 10th overall pick in this year’s NBA draft, and is the son of Boston Celtics head coach Doc Rivers. The younger Rivers is day-to-day with a right ankle injury.
He underwent an MRI on his ankle on Tuesday. After undergoing the test, the MRI showed no structural damage.
He injured his ankle in the second quarter of Monday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks. He did not return after being hurt.
