The New York Knicks center Tyson Chandler is expected to undergo an MRI later today.
Chandler was seen on crutches on Wednesday night. He injured his left knee in Wednesday’s preseason game. He did not return to the game.
He reportedly banged knees with Brooklyn Nets’ Gerald Wallace, then headed to the locker room with a trainer by his side.
He has been healthy for the most part during the past two seasons. But he has been injury prone in the past.
He missed a combined 68 games during the 2008-09 and 09-10 seasons.
