Recently, it was released that Jay Ratliff had to be held back from trying to attack Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
Now, Ratliff will likely miss the rest of the season after having surgery to repair a sports hernia. He has been limited to just six games this season after dealing with several injuries.
In the six games he has played in, he has just 16 tackles.
The Cowboys did not put Ratliff on the injured reserve, which would fully end his season. If the team makes the playoffs, they are hoping that he can return.
He has spent his entire career with the Cowboys after being a seventh-round selection out of Auburn in the 2005 NFL draft. He has played in a 104 games in his career with 27 sacks and 228 tackles.
