Toronto FC signs Hall and Wiedeman to new deals

Toronto FC has re-signed Jeremy Hall and Andrew Wiedeman has signed new contracts with the team. At this time, it is not clear how much each contract is worth.

Also, at the time of publication, it is not clear how long each individual contract is for in terms of length.

The Tampa, Florida native was the 11th overall pick in the 2009 MLS Draft by the New York Red Bulls. He completed his first season with Toronto FC.

Before joining Toronto FC, he also played for the Red Bulls for two seasons. He also played for FC Dallas and the Portland Timbers during the 2011 season.

This past season, he appeared in 23 matches with Toronto FC. He made 19 starts. He had one goal in 1,709 minutes.

The San Ramon, California native was a second-round draft pick in the 2010 MLS Draft by FC Dallas. Like Hall, Weideman was in his first season with Toronto FC. 

He played two seasons for FC Dallas before joining Toronto FC. In his lone season with Toronto FC thus far, he appeared in 15 matches. He made seven starts. He had two goals in 786 minutes.

The two goals were his first two goals in Major League Soccer as he did not score a goal in eight appearances over two seasons with FC Dallas.
