Nicks to need 2 months and likely a minor operation to heal his left knee

New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks will reportedly need two weeks of rest to get back to a 100%.

Nicks only ended up missing two games with the injury that will require him to rest for 6-to-8 weeks. His left knee swelled up in Week 4.

He was not productive down the stretch, and he will likely require a clean-up operation on his knee. He will need the better part of the off-season to heal his left knee, but is expected to be at a 100% for training camp.

Giants quarterback Eli Manning did not throw Nicks’ way in the Giants blowout win over the Philadelphia Eagles. He only played in one snap against the Birds.

He had 53 catches for 692 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games.
