He is also expected to interview with the Buffalo Bills. Marrone has been with the ‘Cuse for the past four seasons, where he has a 25-25 overall record.

His team is 11-17 in conference play. On Saturday, he guided the ‘Cuse to a victory over West Virginia in the Pinstripe Bowl in Yankee Stadium.

Before landing the Syracuse head coaching job, he was the Saints offensive coordinator under Sean Payton from 2006 to 2008. The Saints had the No. 1 ranked offense in the league in 2008.

Marrone also was the New York Jets offensive line coach from 2002 to 2005.
