Free agent Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie did not take long to find a job. On the second day of free agency, Rodgers-Cromartie signed with the Denver Broncos.
He signed a one-year deal for the 2013 season. The financial terms of the agreement are reportedly $5 million.
This is considered a “boom or bust” deal for the Broncos. Either it is going to work out, or the Broncos will cut their losses and move on.

DRC has been an underachiever thus far in his NFL career. Many within the league believe that Rodgers-Cromartie has No. 1 cornerback talent.
However, he has not produced like a No. 1 corner would. With his move, he could be mentored by Champ Bailey, who many believe will be in the Hall of Fame one day.
He spent the last two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles. He was acquired by the Eagles and a 2012 second-round draft pick in a July 28th, 2011 trade with the Arizona Cardinals.
Kevin Kolb went to the Cardinals in the deal.
Rodgers-Cromartie was the Eagles’ starting left corner during the 2012 season. He had 51 tackles. He also had three interceptions and 16 pass deflections.

In two seasons with the Birds, he made 29 appearances. He made 19 starts.
Rodgers-Cromartie had 69 tackles, including two tackles for a loss and one quarterback hit. DRC had 1.0 sacks. He also had three interceptions.
Rodgers-Cromartie had 22 pass deflections.
With this move, he goes back out West. He began his career in Phoenix, Arizona, where he played his first three seasons in the league.
