At one time, Kurt Warner was a star in the Arena Football League. Warner would learn how to be a quarterback in the fast-paced indoor game.

That was before he got his shot with the St. Louis Rams, and led the Rams to the Super Bowl.

The rest is history, as Warner is now a Hall of Fame candidate. Now, a former NFL quarterback has two offers from teams within the AFL.

Neither team has heard back from Tim Tebow, who has received offers left-and-right – it seems – from all different leagues. He has also received offers from the Legends Football League, formerly the Lingerie Football League, and the Canadian Football League.

The Philadelphia Soul offered Tebow a contract on Wednesday. The Orlando Predators also offered Tebow a contract.

Clint Dolezel, who is in his first year as the Soul head coach, has seen his team struggle early on this season. With the team struggling, the quarterback Dan Raudabaugh has said multiple times that the team’s struggles are on him.

Yet, Dolezel doesn’t believe that if Tebow accepted the Soul’s offer that he could start in the league right now. But he believes that Tebow could learn from the game.

“It is adapt or die in our game,” said Dolezel. “It helps you learn quick reads. I think he can figure it out.”

One of the problems that Tebow has had to deal with since he was at Florida was his mechanics. People thought he could not make it in the NFL with these mechanics.

Yet, he was a first-round draft pick by the Denver Broncos in 2010. Then, he spent the 2010 and 2011 season with the Broncos, before being traded to the Jets in 2012.

It was a disaster with the Jets, where they tried to ruin his career. And they finally released him the Monday after the NFL draft when they knew teams already had their quarterbacks.

He has 2,422 passing yards in the NFL right now with 17 touchdowns and 9 interceptions. He also has 989 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns.

In 2011, when the Broncos were struggling, the Broncos made the switch to Tebow, where he led the team to the playoffs after getting off to a 1-4 start. And they even won a first-round matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers, before getting beat by the New England Patriots.

“His release does need to quicken up,” said Dolezel. “We can help him with that in our game. I can use him in the red zone. He could learn from this.”
