The New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz was not seriously injured as first thought.

When he left in the first quarter, he was ruled out for the rest of the game. He should miss a couple of days of practice, before returning for the Giants third preseason game.

He was injured when he ran a vertical route into double coverage. The play would result into a penalty flag, as the play happened deep in the Colts territory.
