Baltimore, MD — Simon Pagneaud won the third annual Grand Prix of Baltimore presented by SRT in the Streets of Baltimore on Sunday. The France native led seven laps of the possible 75 laps.
The Schmidt Hamilton Motorsports driver also received 51 points. This is Pagneaud’s second win of the season. He also won at Detroit 2 earlier this season.

This win also moves him to third in the points standings with 431 points. He’s 70 points behind the points leader, Hélio Castroneves, who has 501 points. Scott Dixon is second with 452 points.

Hartmoor Polo Water IndyCar driver Josef Newgarden for Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing was the second-place finisher. He also received 40 points.
McAfee/Variety IndyCar driver Sébastien Bourdais for Dragon Racing was the third-place finisher. He also led 19 laps and received 36 points.
Verizon IndyCar driver Will Power, who won the inaugural Grand Prix of Baltimore event in 2011, led 31 laps in his Roger Penske ride. Dr. Pepper IndyCar driver Marco Andretti for Andretti Autosport led 21 laps.
Blue eCigs IndyCar driver Graham Rahal for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing also led five laps.
Environmental Rail Solutions IndyCar driver Tristan Vautier for Schmidt Peterson Motorsports also led one lap.
Eight of the 24 cars did not complete the race. Hydroxycut IndyCar driver Tony Kanaan for KV Racing Technology finished 15th after being involved in a crash on Lap 73.
Rahal finished 17th after being involved in a crash on Lap 68. Target IndyCar driver Scott Dixon finished 19th after crashing on Lap 52.
Last year’s Grand Prix of Baltimore presented by SRT winner, Ryan Hunter-Reay, who is driving the DHL/Sun Drop Citrus Soda for Andretti Autosport finished 20th after experiencing battery problems on Lap 42. Cessna IndyCar driver Dario Franchitti for Chip Ganassi Racing finished 21st after experiencing brake problems on Lap 22.

Barracuda Networks IndyCar driver Luca Filippi for BHA/Curb-Agajanian finished 22nd following a fire on Lap 12. Acorn Stairlifts IndyCar driver James Jakes for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing left on Lap 5 for a 23rd-place finish with a gearbox problem.
Takuma Sato, the ABC Supply Co. IndyCar driver for A.J. Foyt Racing, finished 24th after experiencing engine problems on Lap 4.
