Philadelphia, PA – The Houston Cougars are a man down.

Steve Taylor, a back up linebacker, has been ejected from the Houston Cougars-Temple Owls football game. Taylor played less than a quarter in the game, as the Owls were marching to the goal when he was ejected.

Temple quarterback Connor Reilly passed to Ryan Alderman for 18-yards. Zach McMillian made the tackle for Houston.

On the same play, Taylor was hit with a personal foul to move the ball to the 2-yard line. His penalty would eject him from the game, as his personal foul was against a defenseless player.

The red-shirt freshman had to leave the field and head to the locker room for the rest of the game.

On the drive that Taylor was ejected, Temple would score three players after his ejection to make it 6-3.
