San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore reportedly had an altercation with head coach Jim Harbaugh near the end of the 49ers 20-point loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

Gore reportedly had some choice words for his coach. And he was reportedly angry about his meager workload in the game.

He touched the ball just five times before halftime in the game. And he was averaging just 7.5 yards per carry in the game.

He would finish with 11 carries for 82 yards. He would also have two receptions for 21 yards.

In three games, he is averaging just 13.6 carries per game. One could think that Harbaugh was trying to save Gore for Thursday night’s game.

The 49ers face the St. Louis Rams to start Week 4 on the NFL Network.
