The St. Louis Rams are expected to sign free agent outside line backer Jo-Lonn Dunbar tomorrow.
Dunbar was hit with a four-game NFL suspension before the season for violating the NFL’s PED policy. But now with his suspension over, he is expected to re-join the team and start immediately.
He was released by the Rams on September 3rd. He will replace Will Witherspoon on the right outside linebacker position.
Last year was Dunbar’s first season with the Rams. He played the entire 16 games, and made 114 tackles. He also had 4.5 sacks and two forced fumbles.
Prior to joining the Rams, he was a member of the New Orleans Saints. And he was a member of the Saints that won the Super Bowl XLIV in 2009.
He was a member of the Saints from the 2008 through 2011 season. He played in 53 games during that span, where he had a 159 tackles and two sacks.
