There are contradicting reports about Rob Gronkowski.
The New England Patriots tight end has not played in a game this season. And ESPN has reported that he will be back next week, while Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk says that Gronkowski will miss two more games at the more.
Gronkowski has practiced with the team in the past several days. However, Dr. James Andrews has not cleared the tight end to return to the field.
Now, if this ProFootballTalk report is true, he will miss the Patriots-Jets game next weekend. Then, return in Week 8. But time will tell if the ESPN or ProFootballTalk is right.
And the Patriots are getting frustrated with Gronk, as these timetables have been inaccurate each week. Plus, to add to their frustration with Gronk, he has put his trust in Dr. Andrews than in the Patriots medical staff.
Gronk believes that he rushed back too soon last year. He played in 11 games last year and had 55 receptions for 790 yards and 11 touchdowns.
