The St. Louis Rams need a quarterback. While the Rams have lost starting quarterback Sam Bradford after a gruesome knee injury for the rest of the season, the team has already discussed adding a new quarterback.
And the name that has come up is free agent Tim Tebow. He was released by the New England Patriots in final cuts before the 2013 season started.

Some believed that after he was released, he would never get a shot to play quarterback in the NFL again. But maybe there is a chance now with injuries in the league.

The Rams have no desire to sign Tebow, who has been out of football for over a month, according to CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora. NFL Network’s Mike Silver began the rumors around 8:30 Sunday night.
The only other quarterback on the Rams roster right now is Kellen Clemens. Like Tebow, Clemens is a former Jets quarterback, and Clemens is projected to become the starter.
Tebow was a puppet with the Jets last year, as he never had the chance to earn the starting position from Mark Sanchez, as Geno Smith did this year. With the Jets, Tebow went 6 of 8 for 39 passing yards, while having 32 rushes for 102 yards.
Clemens will be called into action after playing in just two games last year. In those two games, he went 1 of 3 for 39 yards an interception and 2 rushes for five years.

Clemens signed a one-year deal with the Rams in the off-season. He has been with the Rams since the 2011 season after being with the Jets since the 2006 season.
It is presumed that Clemens will be the starter moving forward. That is; of course, if the Rams do not make a trade or sign a veteran to take over the starting job from him.
