The Cleveland Cavaliers waited almost until the last second before they knew who they wanted to draft with the No. 1 draft pick back in June.
There were so many options that the Cavaliers could have went with. However, they would select UNLV forward Anthony Bennett with that pick.
Now, as the NBA season would start, it seems like all the other first round draft picks are doing better than Bennett. He has struggled out of the gates, and it just got worse on Monday night.
He missed all three of his field goals, and had just one rebound, along with one steal and one block, in just 10 minutes. The No. 1 overall pick said after the game that he was going dark.
Now, in the first four games, he is 0-for-15. He also just has 2 points in the four games.
While the 20-year-old has a bright future, the team should rally around their struggling youngster. Once he gets things going, he should be able to show his raw talent, as to why the Cavaliers selected him 1st overall.
