UCLA LB proposes to his girlfriend after the Bruins win over Washington

The UCLA Bruins would defeat the Washington Huskies on Friday night, winning 41-31.

But that was not the only thing that happened on Friday night at the Rose Bowl. Redshirt senior linebacker Stan McKay proposed to his girlfriend.

McKay proposed to her with the entire coaching staff and players surrounding the two, as McKay went down on a knee. After what seemed to be a minute of talking to her, she would eventually say yes.

And when she said yes, the football players and coaching staff celebrated in joy. This was caught by the ESPN cameras before going back to the ESPN studio for SportsCenter.

He has won four letters, and has been a solid contributor on defense. And he only has two started in his four-year career, with the two starts coming during the 2011 season.

Before moving to outside linebacker, McKay was a safety for the Bruins.
