The win last night snapped a 55-race winless streak since the June 2012 win.
When Earnhardt Jr. won in the National Guard/AMP Energy entry in 2008, he won the Lifelock 400 and led 14 of the 203 laps. In 2012, he won the Quicken Loans 400 in the Diet Mountain Drew/Dark Knight Rises/National Guard entry and led 95 of the 200 laps.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. now has 20 career NASCAR Cup Series wins. However, he won the biggest race of the year twice — and will be remembered as a Daytona 500 winner.
