NASCAR driver Clint Bowyer had an off week from driving a stock car. While he wasn’t preparing for the Toyota Owners 400 coming up this week, he has preparing for something much bigger.

Bowyer got married in the Bahamas to his wife Lorra. At press time, we know very little about the wedding.

We cannot verify if Bowyer’s fellow NASCAR drivers were in attendance at the wedding. However, with this being a close-knit group of drivers, it would not be surprising if several of them were at the wedding.

In December 2013, he proposed to Lorra, who was his long-time girlfriend. They were engaged for nearly four months, before the marriage ceremony this weekend.

“I don’t want to do a lot,” Bowyer said in Las Vegas at the year-end awards. “Something quick and easy and have a reception, a party.”

While his wife wore a white gown, Bowyer just wore a white dress shirt and tan khaki pants. He also wore brown dress shoes.

Lorra has already changed her Twitter handle to @LorraBowyer after the wedding.

Bowyer has made 8 starts this season, and has earned $1,268 million this season. He is currently 16th in the Sprint Cup Series with 219 points.

In Bowyer’s last race, he finished 12th at the Bojangles’ Southern 500 on April 12th at Darlington Raceway in Darlington, South Carolina. Before the Darlington race, Bowyer had back-to-back Top 10 finishes at Martinsville and Fort Worth.

The eighth-place finish at Fort Worth was his best finish of the season.

After his wedding, his first race will be the Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond International Raceway in Richmond, Virginia.
