Miami Dolphins safety Don Jones has been reinstated to the team.

Jones was suspended by the team after he made sensitive comments after Michael Sam was draft. He did not like the fact that Sam kisses his boyfriend on national television.

He was one of many athletes that did not like seeing those two kiss. While Jones did delete the comment, it was already too late.

He was suspended for a total of eight days. He tweeted “OMG” and “Horrible” after the kiss seen around the world.

“I was made aware of it and I was disappointed in those comments,” Dolphins GM Dennis Hickey said after the Jones tweet. “That’s not what we stand for as an organization.”

During the time away from the team, he had to undergo “sensitivity training.” The 24-year-old’s comments comes on the heels of the Jonathan Martin-Richie Incognito saga that embarrassed the franchise.
