The Baltimore Mariners were supposed to face the Atlanta Sharks tomorrow night at the Baltimore Arena.

The game featuring the Sharks and the Mariners has now been canceled. The Mariners, who announced the cancellation, will not comment on why this game will no longer be played.

“We understand that the fans have questions and concerns,” the team said in a statement on Facebook. “The Baltimore Mariners will move forward and have every intention of winning a championship this season. Please be patient as this is a league matter. Thank you.”

The team says that it is working with the American Indoor Football League on a number of scheduling changes. The team has not commented on whether the tickets for Saturday’s game will be refunded.

The Mariners began the season on a five-game win streak. Last week, they lost 57-47 to the Cape Fear Heroes.

With this cancellation announced, and no scheduled make-up date, there are already questions about the May 31st game. The Cleveland Patriots are scheduled, as of right now, to play the Mariners at the Baltimore Arena at 7 pm.

At the time of the cancellation of the game, the Mariners held a 4-2 record.

Of course, with this cancellation, there are huge question marks on if the team would even play in the playoffs. Only time will tell if that happens.
