He picked Clemson in 2011 over Baylor and Oregon State.

Filer was the eighth-best scorer on the team. K.J. McDaniels led the Tigers with 17.1 points per game.

He did not score in his final game with the Tigers. He played 10 minutes in an NIT loss to the SMU Mustangs but did not score a point.

Filer had seven points in a win over the Belmont Bruins on March 25th.

He had 136 points on the season. Only twice, he scored in double figures. He had a season-high 12 points twice.

He first scored 12 points in a win over the VMI Keydets on December 30th. Then, nearly a month later, he also had 12 points in a loss to the North Carolina Tar Heels on January 26th.

Due to the NCAA transfer rules, Filer will have to sit out one season. He will then be eligible to play for the 2015-16 season.
