In 2011, Donovan Morgan, who is now with the Los Angeles KISS, had 14 receptions against the Power. In the first game of the 2011 season, Morgan had 14 receptions for 189 yards and five touchdowns.

Sammons, who signed a month ago, became the main target against the Power once Ryan McDaniel with down with a torn Achilles. He will have to step up over the final five games now that McDaniel is done for the season.

Unlike the 2011 season opener, the Soul lost their latest game against the Power, 57-56, as time expired.

The Soul won 58-52 in Morgan’s big game in 2011.
