The Philadelphia Soul has lost one of their top wide receivers in their game tonight.

Ryan McDaniel, who is in his second season with the Soul, has reportedly torn his Achilles. He suffered the injury in the second quarter of the Soul’s game at the Wells Fargo Center against the Pittsburgh Power.

McDaniel is likely done for the rest of the season. This season, he had 79 receptions for 1,015 yards and 19 touchdowns.

“Yeah, he’s one of four guys done,” Soul head coach Clint Dolezel at halftime.

He came to the Soul through an open tryout. Since that time, he has had 144 receptions for 1,834 yards and 40 touchdowns.

Also, the Soul had Tyrone Hurst leave with what appeared to be a knee injury. And kicker Carlos Martinez has went down with an injury on the opening kickoff.

Update: Tyrone Hurst and Brandon Perkins suffered knee sprains. McDaniel is out with the Achilles, and Martinez suffered a leg injury.
