Kari Korver is the latest to take part in the Cold Water Challenge.
Korver, the cousin of NBA player Kyle Korver, was challenged to help raise money for charity. One of the main charities that is being used in these Cold Water Challenges is the National Fallen Firefighters Association.

She had 24 hours to complete the water that either takes place in the river, or people having water dumped on them. As you will see below, Korver did the latter while sitting on a chair.
With the challenge complete, she also had to make a $10 or $20 dollar donation to a defined charity by the person that nominated her. It is not clear who dominated her.
If she was unable to complete the challenge, she had to make a $50 or $100 dollar donation to the charity in question. The video of the cold water challenge has to be on Facebook, Instagram, or Youtube.
Korver did her cold water challenge for Play4Kay. This foundation, which is also known as the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization that is committed to being a part of finding an answer in the fight against women’s cancers. Kay Yow was the long-time North Carolina State Wolfpack women’s basketball head coach.
On her bio, it does not state that the soon-to-be junior is a firefighter, or emergency management personnel.
