Charlotte Hornets have high hopes of rookie forward Noah Vonleh.

Vonleh, who was the ninth overall pick in last month’s NBA Draft, struggled big time on Friday night. In fact, he missed every shot that he took.

He was 0-for-13 from the field. In addition, he also missed both shots from the free throw line.

While he couldn’t make a basket, he did have six rebounds, one steal, three blocks, three turnovers, and five fouls in 32 minutes. He’ll next be in action on Sunday against the Sacramento Kings.

Vonleh averaged 46% from the field last season as a freshman with the Indiana Hoosiers. Yet, he rushed all of his shots in his first Summer League game.

With Josh McRoberts now a member of the Miami Heat, he could get serious minutes in the Hornets big-man rotation once the season starts.
