Veteran quarterback Rex Grossman could have a job back in the NFL in the near future.
Grossman will work out for the Miami Dolphins later today. At the moment, the Dolphins are using undrafted free agent Seth Lobato as Ryan Tannehill’s backup.
Both Matt Moore and Pat Devlin are dealing with injuries, causing the Dolphins to look into adding Grossman.
If the former Florida Gators product signs, he is expected to serve as a camp body until the final cuts when he would be cut.
Grossman spent the past four seasons with the Washington Redskins. He also played in 2009 with the Houston Texans and his first six years with the Chicago Bears.
As a quarter, he has competed 863 of 1,562 passes for 10,232 yards and 56 touchdowns to 60 interceptions.
