The Pittsburgh Steelers knew that media were going to ask them about the marijuana arrest their running back before playing the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night. The Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin was asked about it.

He refused to comment. Le’Veon Bell and LeGarrett Blount were both asked about it, as well.

Bell is facing a charge of possession of marijuana and also a potential DUI-marijuana charge. He was pulled over at around 1:30 pm on Wednesday with Blount in the car.

Blount, who signed with the team in the off-season, wasn’t arrested. Yet, he has a troubling past that has caused him to only get a one-year deal this off-season.

Reports indicate that officers found 20 grams of pot in the car. Bell also had to go to the hospital to have his blood drawn, which could lead to the driving under the influence of marijuana charge.

Bell had to make his own travel plans to Philadelphia, as he missed the team’s charter. Blount went with the team on the charter.

Bell had 23 yards on the night, while Blount added 32 yards.
